Yarnscombe is a small village in the north-west corner of the county of Devon, England. It is approximately six miles north-east of Torrington, seven miles south of Barnstaple and eight miles east-south-east of Bideford.
While remaining “off the beaten track” Yarnscombe is within easy reach of the beautiful Devon coastline; the long-distance South West Coast Path; the sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe; and the wild country of Exmoor.
At Umberleigh, some four miles away, there is a railway network connection to Exeter and beyond. [Show train times to and from Barnstaple, Exeter and Exmouth.] The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are 40 and 55 miles respectively by road and the M5 motorway interchange at Tiverton is 37 miles away.
