With the Easter bank holiday fast approaching, Torridge District Council is reminding residents that there will be some changes to their usual waste and recycling collection days. 

 

All refuse and recycling collections normally due on Friday 3 April (Black Bag, Recycling, Garden Waste) will be collected one day later on Saturday 4 April.

 

Collections for the week commencing Monday 6 April will also be one day later than usual for the whole week.

 

The normal collection schedule will resume from the week starting Monday 13 April. For further information on collection dates and times, please visit our website at: torridge.gov.uk/wasteandrecycling

 

Easter egg packaging is made of various materials such as cardboard, plastic, and foil. These materials can be easily and widely recycled, please see what goes where below:

 

  • Cardboard Easter Egg Box - Brown bag
  • Foil wrap - Green box
  • Plastic egg packaging - Green box
