Yarnscombe is a small village in the north-west corner of the county of Devon, England. It is approximately six miles north-east of Torrington, seven miles south of Barnstaple and eight miles east-south-east of Bideford.
While remaining “off the beaten track” Yarnscombe is within easy reach of the beautiful Devon coastline; the long-distance South West Coast Path; the sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Saunton, Croyde and Woolacombe; and the wild country of Exmoor.
At Umberleigh, some four miles away, there is a railway network connection to Exeter and beyond. The cities of Exeter and Plymouth are 40 and 55 miles respectively by road and the M5 motorway interchange at Tiverton is 37 miles away.
