A street party was held in the Village Hall during June 2022 to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

The beacon was included in the worldwide organised lighting event to mark the beginning of the Jubilee celebrations. Ours was one of 1500 registered as taking part in the UK. The certificate of recognition can be seen in the Village Hall.​
